LOVING JESUS // SERVING ONE ANOTHER
One of the ways we pursue and live out discipleship is through serving those inside and outside the church. Below we’ve listed the most common areas of need, however, if there is a different way you’d like to get involved, Click here to let us know in what ways God is leading you to serve.
Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28.
OUTREACH //
Display the good news of Christ to the hungry, hurting, and hopeless. This movement includes sharing the good news of Jesus through local service projects, assisting families in need, as well as missions trips and starting new churches.
LP KIDS //
We strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
hospitality //
Volunteers on our Hospitality team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They serve our church every week by greeting people before and after services, help people find seats, and work behind our Connection Counter and help prep for communion.
Production team //
Volunteers on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and set up for services and events.
worship team //
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
LP YOUTH //
On a weekly basis, our students meet in small groups that are broken up by age and gender to learn and study God’s Word and to foster biblical community at a young age. If God is leading you to engage teenagers for the sake of the Gospel and discipleship, Lifepoint wants to equip you to do so.
Creative /
From welding to building, if you have special skills ... or not ... Lifepoint loves to equip individuals to use their passions and creativity for God's glory.
STORIES //
Volunteers on our Stories team help us testify to who God is and what He has done and is doing in Christ. These volunteers serve the body by creating and sharing stories that speak the truth about the way things are and proclaim the gospel through photography, videography, writing, editing and other areas.
FACILITIES //
Volunteers on our Facilities team serve behind the scenes. They take care of the church building and grounds and keep things looking and working great. They clean the church building, maintain the church grounds, prep for services and events, and help with making sure your experience is excellent.
FINANCE //
Volunteers on our Finance team serve the church behind the scenes in the area of giving and financial stewardship. They collect the offering after weekend worship services or they assist with counting the offering on Sundays. Due to the confidential nature of the role, applicants must be Covenant Partners.
